Our Latest Event!

On Saturday, April 4th the Greater Boston LIVESTRONG Army joined young adult cancer survivors at the annual "I'm Too Young For This!" Conference. Held at Brigham & Women's Hospital, the day was a great opportunity for cancer survivors, loved ones and caretakers to meet one another, hear author and cancer survivor Kairol Rosenthal speak and take part in break-out sessions.

Our Army set up a table where survivors could learn more about LAF, pick up a survivor notebook, bracelet or other pamphlets, and sign up to join our Army or our LIVESTRONG Challenge team (Philly).

To everyone we met that day...it was an honor getting to know you and we wish you all the best of luck. Keep in touch!!

Our First Event!

Last October, the Greater Boston LIVESTRONG Army attended the Harvard, MA Flea Market. At our booth we passed out materials like the Survivor Notebooks, LIVESTRONG bracelets and information on the Lance Armstrong Foundation. In addition, we raffled off a Bose Wave radio, New England Patriots tickets and a Legal Sea Food Gift Certificate. In total, we raised almost $1,000! Not a bad start.
